‘Mama sukhasaubhāgya putrapautrādi susthira śrī prāptayē karaka caturthī vratamahaṁ kariṣyē.’

Shri Krishna tells Draupadi that if he observes fast on Karthik Krishna Chaturthi i.e. Karva Chauth, he can get relief from all these troubles. According to the statement of Lord Krishna, Draupadi fasts Karva Chauth along with law and order, which removes all their sufferings.
